Ogre Municipality – innovative approach to the central library
The Ogre Municipality determined the necessity of a new, contemporary library facility and opted to acquire an artificial intelligence-controlled humanoid robot. This addition aims to showcase innovations and technological advancements within the future library building. The procurement process adhered to Article 9 of the Public Procurement Law, known as “small procurement,” with evaluations based on the lowest price criterion. In January 2020, a contract was finalized with “Hansab” Ltd for the development and supply of robot technology to the Ogre Central Library.
